Larry is a superb technician! His attention to detail is to be admired. We had 30 years of wax and scuff marks on our stone foyer and he brought it back to life, it looks like the day it was installed. We highly recommend Michigan Stone and Surface Care!

I'm so glad that our business found Michigan Stone and Surface Care. They do a great job for a very reasonable price. Our floors were in horrible shape, and Larry and crew made them look brand new. Definitely will use their service again, and definitely highly recommend.

Larry kept in contact with me to confirm appointment and to reschedule as needed. The work done was quick and a quality job. My linoleum floors look brand new, the tile is finally clean and my carpets feel so nice and clean. Price was right too. Would use Larry again in the future when the floors get dirty again.

Larry did a fabulous job on our kitchen floor. We had very heavy wax buildup and were thinking about a new floor, but now we have a floor that looks like new. Very friendly service.

I hired Michigan Stone And Surface Care LLC to clean and repair grout in my master and guest bathrooms. Larry has been friendly to work with, but we have experienced a number of issues since the start and I cannot recommend their services to others.

We had two scheduling issues at the beginning due to Larry forgetting to put the appointments on the schedule (one missed completely, the other I was able to catch prior by reaching out to confirm the appointment the week of).

Once the work started, we had additional issues. A few repairs that were discussed during the initial quote were not completed, but Larry did stay late to complete them after I pointed it out. Additionally, the tile cleaning in the guest bathroom resulted in grout breakage, which Larry had to fix twice.

In the master bathroom, Larry persuaded me to replace the shower floor grout completely (rather than just cleaning, as I initially requested), assuring me it would be faster, cheaper, and look better.

During the initial visit, two tiles were cracked (a risk I was not aware of prior). Additionally, the new grout color was much different than expected and shown. Larry said there wasn't anything we could do about the cracked tile, but did return to attempt to fix the discolored new grout. Unfortunately, another tile was broken beyond repair during the return visit, at which time we had to ask Larry to halt all work to avoid potential further damage to the shower.

What started as a request for cleaning, has left us with no grout in our master bathroom shower, two tiles with hairline cracks, and one tile that is completely broken (with a chunk missing).

The shower was fully functional prior to this work, but has now been unusable for a month so far while I search for a qualified contractor to repair the damage. Larry did issue a $205 refund; however, the overall repair cost will exceed this (potentially costing thousands to repair it the right way, because we cannot match the existing floor tile for an easy replacement and waterproofing is a concern by all other contractors).

I have requested Michigan Stone and Surface Care to claim this damage through insurance or issue an additional refund (of what we paid during the initial visit) to help offset the unexpected repair costs; however, they have not responded to our requests.

Larry worked to recondition our granite kitchen countertops. He buffed the counters down and then resealed it. The counters are beautiful again.

Larry was very professional when he came to do the estimate and when they did the work. He was always willing to answer questions and make suggestions. We also thought his pricing was fair and he is very personable.

I would highly recommend Larry and his company.
